Equine Jobs
In terms of equine jobs, the Equine Research Foundation is currently seeking
a Cook for the mid-June through August 2008 or mid-June through September 2008 learning and riding
vacation season. Please contact
us if interested.
Job Details:
- Prepare meals for 1 to 6 people, (varies with each group) in well-equipped kitchen and with help from interns when available.
- Other possibilities if interested: Saddle and bridle 6 to 8 horses approximately 3 days per week.
- Assist and ride with small groups (maximum 6) on ranch trails, vineyard paths and California beaches.
Candidate Requirements:
- Have good cooking skills
- Prepare and follow menus
- Work well with others
- Enjoy interacting with people and have good social skills
- Be at least 21 years old
- Nonsmoker
- Have adequate riding abilities if candidate desires to ride
- Have good horsemanship skills if interested in wrangling
